Kyle Conner, 31, of Monkton, died after a motorcycle crash in Ferrisburgh, Vermont, Wednesday night, while Faith Hobson, 30, of Vergennes, was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence following the collision.

According to Vermont State Police, Hobson was driving southbound on Route 7 in Ferrisburgh when her vehicle crashed into Conner’s motorcycle. Police said Conner was stopped on the roadway and attempting to make a left turn when the collision occurred.

The crash left Conner seriously injured. Emergency responders transported him to the University of Vermont Medical Center for treatment. Despite receiving medical attention, Conner later died from the injuries he suffered in the crash.

His death has left a family and community facing an unexpected and painful loss. At 31 years old, Conner’s life was tragically cut short, leaving behind loved ones who must now cope with the heartbreak of losing someone important to them.

Following the crash, Vermont State Police screened Hobson for driving under the influence of alcohol. Authorities subsequently arrested her on suspicion of DUI. She was scheduled to appear in Addison County Court on Thursday in connection with the case.
