It is with profound sadness that we announce the tragic passing of Ryan M. George, 27, of Lowellville, who lost his life in a crash in Poland, Ohio.

According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the accident happened around midnight on the 6800 block of Struthers Road. Ryan was traveling northbound in his Subaru SUV when his vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say the crash remains under investigation.

A life taken far too soon.

Ryan was only 27 โ€” a son, a brother, a grandson, a friend, and a beloved member of the Lowellville and Mahoning Valley community. In his 27 years, he brought laughter, kindness, and light to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. He will be remembered not for how he left us, but for how he lived โ€” for his smile, his big heart, and the countless memories he leaves behind.

There are no words to ease the pain of losing someone so young and so suddenly. No family should have to endure this kind of heartbreak. We can only hold his family and loved ones close in our thoughts and prayers during this unimaginably difficult time.

To the George family โ€” please know that your community is mourning with you. You are not alone. Poland, Lowellville, and the entire Valley are standing with you, lifting you up, and honoring Ryan’s memory with you.

May you find comfort in cherished memories, strength in each other, and peace in knowing how deeply Ryan was loved and how truly he will be missed.

Rest easy, Ryan. Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. You will be forever remembered.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by the family.
