FAYETTE COUNTY, Pa. — A heartbreaking overnight crash on Route 119 has claimed the life of 23-year-old Lee Black of Connellsville, leaving family, friends and loved ones to mourn a life that ended far too soon.

The fatal collision happened in the northbound lanes of Route 119 in Fayette County, just before the Main Street exit, at approximately 4 a.m. Thursday morning.

What should have been another early morning on the road instead became a devastating scene as emergency crews responded to a serious two-vehicle crash.

According to the Fayette County Coroner’s Office, Lee Black was pronounced dead at the scene. At just 23 years old, Lee’s life was tragically cut short, leaving loved ones to face the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye.

The circumstances leading up to the collision have not yet been released. Investigators are continuing to work to determine exactly what happened in the moments before the two vehicles collided.
