A heartbreaking tragedy unfolded Wednesday night in Ferrisburgh, Vermont, when a motorcycle crash claimed the life of 31-year-old Kyle Conner of Monkton. According to Vermont State Police, Conner was riding his motorcycle southbound on Route 7 when he stopped and was attempting to make a left turn. At that moment, a vehicle traveling southbound behind him crashed into the stopped motorcycle.

Conner suffered serious injuries in the collision and was rushed to the University of Vermont Medical Center for emergency medical treatment. Despite the efforts of medical personnel, he later died from the injuries he sustained in the crash.

Authorities identified the driver of the vehicle as 30-year-old Faith Hobson of Vergennes. Police said Hobson was screened for driving under the influence of alcohol following the crash and was subsequently arrested on suspicion of DUI. She was scheduled to appear in Addison County Court on Thursday.
