A heartbreaking tragedy has left a community mourning the loss of 25-year-old Kaitie Tabor, who was killed in a devastating single-vehicle crash Thursday evening, September 3.

Police identified Tabor as the victim following the crash along NE 23rd Street near McDonald Road at approximately 7 p.m. The tragic accident has left family members, loved ones, and the wider community struggling to come to terms with a life taken far too soon.

Authorities said Tabor and a 3-month-old infant were ejected from the vehicle during the crash. Six children, ranging in age from just 3 months to 7 years old, were inside the vehicle at the time. All six children were transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
