With heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Christian Anthony Fa’amaligi, a beloved son, brother, friend, and cherished member of the Oceanside community.

At just 31 years old, Christian’s life was tragically cut short, leaving behind a family and community struggling with a loss that words cannot fully describe. He had so much more life ahead of him, so many dreams to pursue, places to see, and beautiful memories yet to create.

Christian was riding his bicycle along Mission Avenue near Ocean Point Road when he was struck by a vehicle. Despite being rushed to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, he sadly passed away in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Today, those who knew and loved Christian are left with memories and a painful emptiness that cannot easily be filled.

Christian was more than the circumstances surrounding his passing. He was a son who was deeply loved, a brother whose presence meant the world to his family, and a friend whose memory will remain with those fortunate enough to have known him.

His sister, Audri Mae Fa’amaligi, shared the heartbreaking reality of losing her little brother, expressing how difficult it is to comprehend that someone so young and full of life is suddenly gone. Her words speak to the unimaginable pain of a family saying goodbye far too soon.

Christian deserved more time. More birthdays. More laughter. More family gatherings. More ordinary days that we often take for granted.

Though his journey ended unexpectedly, his memory does not end here.

He will live on in the stories his loved ones tell, in the memories shared by friends, and in the hearts of everyone who cared for him. The impact of a life is not measured only by the number of years lived, but by the love given and the lives touched along the way.
