It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we remember 34-year-old Ashley Moes and 37-year-old Jordan Moes, whose lives were tragically lost at a rural residence north of Osmond, Nebraska, on September 2, 2026.
The heartbreaking discovery was reported to authorities at approximately 7:09 a.m., when the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office received a call concerning two people who were possibly deceased at the residence. Deputies responded alongside the Nebraska State Patrol and discovered Ashley and Jordan deceased.
According to Pierce County Attorney Ted Lohrberg, each person suffered a single gunshot wound. Preliminary findings indicate that Ashley died from a gunshot wound, while Jordan died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the deaths, and autopsies were scheduled for September 3.
As investigators work to establish the full circumstances of this devastating incident, the focus now turns to the families and loved ones left behind.
