With heavy hearts, we remember Amarious Williams and Drevion Brewer, two lives tragically lost following a shooting at an apartment complex in LaGrange, Georgia, on Monday night, September 7, 2026.

According to the LaGrange Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 9:41 p.m. to the apartment complex at 1235 Hogansville Road after receiving reports that multiple people had been shot. When officers arrived, they discovered Drevion Brewer outside the apartment complex suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Despite the response of emergency personnel, Brewer was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators determined that the shooting had occurred inside Apartment 922. Officers entered the apartment to search for additional victims and found Amarious Williams suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Williams was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but sadly, he later succumbed to his injuries.

A juvenile victim was also found in the area suffering from a single gunshot wound to the leg. The juvenile was transported to a local hospital for treatment, and authorities said the injury appeared to be non-life-threatening.

The tragedy has left two families facing an unimaginable loss. Amarious Williams and Drevion Brewer were taken from this world far too soon, leaving behind memories that those who knew them will carry forward.
