According to the LaGrange Police Department, officers were dispatched at approximately 9:41 p.m. to 1235 Hogansville Road after receiving reports that multiple people had been shot. When officers arrived, Drevion Brewer was found outside the apartment complex suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Sadly, Brewer was pronounced deceased at the scene.

Investigators determined that the shooting occurred inside Apartment 922, where Amarious Williams was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Williams was transported to a local hospital for treatment, but he later succumbed to his injuries.

A juvenile was also found nearby with a single gunshot wound to the leg. The juvenile was transported to a hospital for treatment, and authorities reported that the injury was non-life-threatening.
