The Town Tavern of Blowing Rock will be closed for the remainder of today and all of tomorrow as we give our staff, our Tavern family, and everyone who loved him the time and space to mourn the heartbreaking loss of our dear friend and teammate, Dylan Roberts, who was tragically taken from us in a swimming accident while vacationing with his family.

There are moments in life that leave us without words, and this is one of them. Dylan was so much more than a valued employee—he was an irreplaceable part of the Town Tavern family. He walked through our doors every day with an infectious smile, unmatched energy, and a genuine kindness that made everyone around him feel welcomed and appreciated. His presence had a way of lifting spirits, bringing laughter to even the busiest shifts, and reminding us all why we loved what we do.

In an industry that is often defined by long hours, demanding work, and constant challenges, Dylan stood apart. He brought heart into everything he touched. His work ethic was extraordinary, his reliability unwavering, and his willingness to step in and help anyone in need never went unnoticed.
