With heavy hearts and profound sadness, we remember 58-year-old Glenn Minasian of Jersey City, whose life was tragically cut short following a fatal pedestrian collision on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
Shortly after 5:00 a.m., emergency responders were called to Routes 1 and 9 near Duncan Avenue after a pedestrian was reported to have been struck. When Jersey City police officers arrived, they found Glenn suffering from serious injuries.
He was transported to Jersey City Medical Center, where medical professionals worked to provide care for him. Sadly, Glenn succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased.
His passing leaves behind a heartbreaking void for everyone who knew and loved him. At 58 years old, Glenn had spent decades creating memories, building relationships, sharing experiences, and touching the lives of people around him. His life was so much more than the circumstances of his final moments.
For his family, friends, neighbors, and loved ones, this loss is undoubtedly difficult to comprehend. Losing someone unexpectedly can leave behind countless unanswered questions and an emptiness that words cannot easily fill. The days ahead may bring moments of sadness, disbelief, and longing, but they will also bring memories of the person Glenn was and the moments he shared with those closest to him.
A personโs life is measured not only by the number of years they are given, but also by the love they give, the memories they create, and the lives they touch. Glennโs memory will continue through those who knew him, through stories shared about him, and through the moments that will never be forgotten.
Authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash. The striking vehicle remained at the scene, and the Hudson County Regional Collision Investigation Unit and Jersey City Police Department are working to determine the full circumstances of what happened.
As investigators continue their work, Glennโs loved ones are left to mourn a life taken far too soon.
During this difficult time, may his family find comfort in the memories they hold close. May his friends find strength in one another, and may everyone who knew Glenn remember him for the life he lived rather than the tragic circumstances surrounding his death.
His absence will be deeply feltโin conversations that will never happen again, in familiar places that now feel different, and in the memories that remain forever.
Rest peacefully, Glenn Minasian.
May your memory be a blessing to everyone who loved you. Though you have left this world, the moments you shared and the lives you touched will continue to keep your memory alive.
Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
May you rest in eternal peace.
