With heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Weston Waxler, a beloved 22-year-old young man whose life was tragically cut short.
Weston’s passing has left a deep and heartbreaking void in the lives of his family, friends, and everyone who knew him. At only 22 years old, he had so much life ahead of him, so many dreams to pursue, places to go, and beautiful memories yet to make.
On Wednesday night in New Braunfels, Texas, Weston was involved in a devastating motorcycle crash on Interstate 35 near the Schmidt Avenue overpass. Authorities said he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was thrown from his motorcycle and was subsequently struck by several vehicles traveling through the area. Sadly, Weston was pronounced dead at the scene.
Behind the heartbreaking headlines was a young man who meant so much to the people around him. Weston was a son, a loved one, a friend, and someone whose life touched others in ways that cannot be measured by words.
His loved ones are now left to face the unimaginable pain of saying goodbye far sooner than anyone ever expected. There will be birthdays without him, conversations that can no longer happen, and moments when his absence will be felt most deeply.
Weston deserved more time. He deserved more laughter, more adventures, more family moments, and the opportunity to experience all that life still had waiting for him.
Although his life ended tragically, his memory will continue to live through the people who loved him. May they hold tightly to the memories, stories, and moments that made Weston special.
May his family find strength in one another and comfort in knowing that Weston’s life mattered and that he will never be forgotten.
Rest peacefully, Weston. Your time was far too short, but your memory will last forever.
Forever 22. Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever in our hearts.
