With heavy hearts, we remember and honor the life of Weston Waxler, a beloved young man whose life was tragically taken far too soon at just 22 years old.
Weston’s passing has left behind a deep and painful void for his family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. At an age when life should have been filled with new opportunities, dreams, adventures, and countless memories, his journey was unexpectedly cut short.
On Wednesday night in New Braunfels, Texas, Weston was involved in a devastating motorcycle crash on Interstate 35 near the Schmidt Avenue overpass. Authorities said he was wearing a helmet when he was thrown from his motorcycle and subsequently struck by several vehicles. Tragically, Weston was pronounced dead at the scene.
While the circumstances surrounding his passing are heartbreaking, Weston was so much more than the accident that claimed his life. He was a son, a family member, a friend, and a young man whose presence brought meaning to the lives of those around him.
There are no words that can truly ease the pain of losing someone so young. His loved ones are now left with memories of the time they shared with him and the difficult reality that there will be no more conversations, celebrations, or ordinary moments together.
Weston deserved more time—more birthdays, more laughter, more adventures, and more opportunities to experience everything life had to offer.
May those who loved him find comfort in the memories he left behind and strength in one another during this heartbreaking time.
Weston Waxler will never be remembered only for how his life ended, but for the life he lived and the place he held in the hearts of those who knew him.
Rest peacefully, Weston. You were loved, you are deeply missed, and you will never be forgotten.
Forever 22. Forever loved. Forever in our hearts.
